Employee Voice and Organisation Performance
Employee voice is defined in CIPD (2024a) as “chance presented for staff to highlight their thoughts, issue prompt feedback and raise suggestions on issues relating their workplace”. Further, CIPD (2024) define organisation performance as “scope of organisations success in line with their initially set objectives (market dominance, profitability, efficient services delivery).

In SME organisation, to enhance employee voice, they are in a position of sourcing substantial understanding, increased operation data and innovativeness. In the organisation, these improve quality of decisions made and execution of their roles.
In the organisation going through merger, employees morale is enhanced, uncertainties mitigated with a feeling of being included enhanced. This is when the employees have opportunity for accessing formal and informal platforms for sharing their areas of misunderstanding and generate recommendations in change including merging process. As identified in CIPD (2024b), an active inclusion of employees facilitate an earlier diagnosis of potential risks, operation issues and satisfaction barriers. In the merging entity, this would enhance an on-time and evidence-supported decision making hence enhanced organisation results and committed.
Relationship Evaluation
There exist a direct correlation of the employee voice and increased organisation performance. In reviewed literature, actively engaging employees in making decisions offer an opportunity for organisations to identify inefficiency, initiate strategies of fixing them and enhancing provision of services.
