Kubler-Ross Change Curve Model

This model initially developed to manage grieve has 6 stages for emotionally reacting. This is upon an entity undergoing change process (Tarnoff et al., 2021);

Kubler Ross Change Curve

First, shock is evident with employees surprised and stun due to change occurring unexpectedly.

The denial follows with employees rejecting fact that change has occurred with casual though it would be for a short-term and ineffective to them.

Thirdly, anger crip in with employees being frustrated, resenting and blame-games evident which are passed to the leadership.

After this, they would consider bargaining, with the employees opting for a compromise with suggestions on evident compromising positions and likely alternative.

Finally, depression prevail characterised with less morale, withdrawing potentially and feeling helpless since change is real and not avoided.

Lastly, acceptance occurs with employees starting their adaptation, exploration of work strategies and rebuilding how committed they are to their entity.

Emotion and behaviours encountered amongst Calmere House Employees in different stages

Denial- Staff strongly hold view that Calmere set traditions are long-lasting albeit sales made. An assumption prevail that Kirsten person-centric cultural tendency is maintained, and Chaffinch Group change temporarily.
