(Solution) 5C003 Question 9 (AC 3.2) With reference to your reflections and feedback at Q7, and your research at Q8, assess your current strengths, weaknesses and development areas in relation to people practice

Solution

Strengths:

My strengths regarding people practice at the moment are the ability to maintain good, meaningful relations and knowledge sharing. I am open to the team leads and can often provide directions and resources to them and this is relevant to the CIPD Associate-level requirement in collaborative working and knowledge sharing. I also go out of my way to get different views when formulating new programs, which shows that I practice embracing diversity and thinking inclusive.

Weaknesses:

The behaviour that I should enhance is motivated networking that promotes psychological safety, which consists of encouraging others to voice concerns and acknowledges mistakes. Although I strive to model these behaviours at a personal level, I am less active in providing structured situations, where others can feel safe enough to model such behaviours. This self-understanding was pointed out in comments a close comrade made, and it represents a growth ingredient in terms of developing inclusive team cultures.

Development Areas:

In the future, I will have to concentrate on technical training in HR analytics and data interpretation. As such the growing need…..
