Solution
Question 3 (AC 1.3) Consider why it is important to communicate in this way and two potential consequences (one for you and one for Nexxobyte) if you are unable to do so
Informed
Communicating in an informed way means basing recommendations on credible evidence, data, and professional expertise (Oaks, 2025).

In Nexxobyte, where HR processes and leadership structure have developed at an informal level, any ideas concerning improvements should be supported with research, benchmarking, and good practices. The case will be supported through the knowledge gained with the help of the CIPD Profession Map, and information on staff turnover or complaints expressed by the employees will be considered (CIPD, 2025a). This instills credibility and the management team will realize that proposals are not mere opinions, but they are based on sound principles of people practice.
Clear
Clarity is essential when working with busy leaders who may not be familiar with HR frameworks or terminology, as evidenced by (CIPD, 2023c). This is through sharing information in an organized manner, that is, by sticking to simple language, visuals, and in terms of practical application, since I will be certain about delivering important information in a way that is understandable and can be implemented. To illustrate further, rather than using the phrase, we require a performance management framework, I may say something along the lines of: we ought to establish a process of monthly check-ins to enable consistency and continued development of employees. Communication, when clear, will minimise resistance and bring all the people closer to the same direction.
Confident
There is a vital need to be a confident communicator as an embodiment of a firm voice in regards to people practice (CIPD, 2025b).
